RATES LISTED PER PERSON, FROM JUNEAU, ALASKA

All Packages Include: Scheduled round-trip transportation from Juneau/Whalers’ Cove Lodge, including 50 pounds of inbound luggage. All food, snacks and beverages, Experienced Coast Guard-licensed captains (Guided Package) or for the Self-Guided Package, fully equipped 18 foot Klamath/console fishing boats equipped with video fish finders, radios, and power tilt outboard motors. Also included: rods, and reels, bait, raingear, rubber footwear, fish processing (vacuum packaging, wet lock insulated fish boxes holding up to 50 pounds) and 50 pounds extra freight from the Lodge to Juneau.

*Selfguided boat upgrade to 22 ft. Boulton, $200/day, based upon availability and loading.

Not Included: Fishing licenses and King Salmon stamp, 4 percent City sales tax, excess air freight, fly-outs, gratuities, unscheduled transportation.

Additional Days: Additional days are possible if space and boats are available. To extend your stay, please add the following rates (please note that additional transportation costs may be added for unscheduled arrivals or departures. Guided Package: $700 person/day; Self-Guided: $500 person/day)

Family Rates: Children under 18 and non-fishing parties are 25 percent less than package rates.

Scheduled Arrivals/Departures: Scheduled transportation days in and out of Whalers’ Cove Lodge are Saturdays and Wednesdays. The day of arrival depends on the package that you choose. Generally, transportation is a catamaran or float plane on Saturday or a float plane on Wednesday (determined by the lodge). Both have early a.m. departures from Juneau and the Lodge. The
catamaran departs Juneau at approximately 5:15 a.m. and returns to Juneau at approximately noon. The float plane departs Juneau at about 7:00 a.m. and arrives back in Juneau at about 8:30 a.m. (allow for delays due to fog). All travel plans are subject to change due to heightened airport security. Please check with us prior to booking your flight home.

Unscheduled Arrivals/Departures: For unscheduled flights, the following fees apply: Charters will range from $600 to $1600 plus tax one way, depending on the number of people, their weight, their luggage weight, and the number and weight of fish boxes when departing. A cost of $125/person plus tax one-way is charged for commercial flights into Angoon plus $1.00 per pound for excess baggage over the first 50 pounds. All prices are subject to change.

Possible Additional Costs: Limiting guided boat to two people $250/person/day, liming boat to three people: $150/person/day, (based on availability of boats); outbound freight in excess of allowed amount (150 lbs.) @ $.50/lb; unscheduled transportation (see Unscheduled Arrivals/Departures above), fly outs, upgrades from self-guided to guided, $200/per person/per day.

Deposition Requirements: A $1000/person deposit is required upon booking a trip. You will save an additional 4% if the full amount of your trip is paid at the time of booking! Payment may be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express, check, money order or cashier’s check, or cash.

Cancellation Policy: We highly recommend Travel Guard Insurance. Deposit is not refundable. All other payments are fully refunded up to 60 days prior to arrival. There are no refunds due to weather conditions or events beyond our control.

Additional Information: We will send you a Guest Handbook upon final payment (payment due no later than 60 days prior to arrival). The Guest Handbook will tell you what to bring, what to do in Juneau, and other general information regarding your stay with us. If you have booked a Self-Guided trip, we will include a self-guided instructional video for your orientation upon your request.
