Main Lodge
Whalers' Cove is located on a beautiful secluded beach overlooking Killisnoo Harbor and the snow-clad mountains of Admiralty Island. The main lodge is the hub of activity. It serves as our administrative office, dining facility, central recreational facility and the setting for our numerous evening activities.
The main lodge also acts as a hub for our evening entertainment. Take advantage of authentic Tlingit Indian dancers from the Community of Angoon, in full regalia as they tell the stories of their ancestors and their relocation from the interior of the Yukon to Admiralty Island. Also offered are lectures on the fisheries of our area and how to target species, the history of Whalers' Cove and the surrounding area, live musical entertainment, the daily fish count and awards for the largest king salmon, halibut and the most unusual catch of the day.
For the corporate travelers, take advantage of this large room or others of smaller size for meetings or seminars during the day. For presentations, we have available to use televisions, VCRs, slide projectors, screens and numerous other equipment.
Surrounding the main lodge are our standard accommodations - private, comfortable, clean, modern beachfront cabins and rooms with private or shared baths.
We also offer comfortable and convenient value accommodations at the Favorite Bay Inn Bed and Breakfast.
